Model B will be a fully functional ventilator built specifically for more complex COVID-19 patients. This device will be < $500 per unit, meet stricter regulatory requirements for medical devices, and will be operable in clinical and non-clinical settings. Model B ventilators have not been fully developed yet, though Harvey Hawes and others are working on Model B designs now. We need Model B designs to be done in the next month so manufacturing can be done within 2-3 months.

IF YOU WANT TO HELP WITH MECHANICAL DESIGN: It would be wise to start designing Model Bs, since that is where the demand is going to be soon.
